Residential Disabled Parking Signs Info

Residential Disabled Parking was established to provide disabled City residents with convenient and accessible parking in close proximity to their residences.

Residential Parking

Chapter 9-64-090 of the Municipal Code of Chicago provides for the establishment of residential parking permit (RPP) zones for areas in which residents have difficulty parking due to the presence of a disproportionate number of non-resident owned vehicles parked in the area.

Permits

Permits issued by the Department of Buildings help to ensure construction work complies with the minimum standards of safety established by the Chicago Construction Codes in order to protect public health, safety, and welfare.
